For the first time in its history, River Oaks Country Club benefited an animal non-profit organization at its popular Holiday Shopping Boutique held Nov 4th & 5th. More than 1,300 shoppers and vendors covered the Club House to over capacity with exclusive, custom designed jewelry, home decor items, antiques, creative fashions, books, and one of a kind artisan Holiday gifts. By special invitation, the BARC Foundation, occupied a spacious Booth filled with adorable BARC Shelter doggies & kittens, Clair Amonett’s Luxury Pet Accessories, and Natural Paws gratuitous pet treats and nutrition bags.
A highlight of the Event was a rare personal appearance by internationally renown Pet Psychic, TV & Radio Personality and Author – Sonya Fitzpatrick – who spoke to the crowd and gave numerous personal, moving “pet readings” to persons in the audience.
